Kenya’s Covid-19 cases shoot to 81 with 22 new patients

Kenya has confirmed 22 new coronavirus cases bringing the national total to 81.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe on Wednesday said out of the 22 cases, 21 were on quarantine.

He further said 13 of the new patients are male while nine are female.

The new patients are as follows – 18 Kenyans, two Pakistanis and 2 Cameroonians.

A total of 300 people were tested within the last 24 hours.

Kenya reported its first coronavirus case on March 13. Since then, one patient has died and three fully recovered – patient number one (Brenda ), three (Brian) and patient number eight, who has not come out publicly.
