Wilson Sossion resigns from KNUT

Wilson Sossion has resigned as the Secretary-General of Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT).

Sossion resigned on Friday, June 25 to concentrate on his legislative duties.

Sossion was nominated to the National Assembly in 2017 through ODM Party.

“I have outgrown KNUT. My responsibility now shifts to Parliament,” he said in a press conference.

He has been at the helm of KNUT since 2013.

Sossion was deregistered as a teacher by TSC after he was nominated to parliament.
