Popula Pakistan Tiktoker Imsha Rehman was forced to deactivate her social media accounts after facing backlash after her private video went viral.

Many of her fans in social media accused her of clout chasing by intentionally releasing the video to gain attention.

Whereas she could be a victim of data breach breach, most of her fans think otherwise.

Recently, another social media sensation Minahil Malik had to deactivate her Instagram account after a private video with her boyfriend surfaced online.

She was accused of using the video as a publicity stunt to gain more followers.

Imsha Rehman’s response to the controversy

Imsha Rehman took to social media and posted that the negative comments were overwhelming before she deactivated her account.

People have now turned screenshots of her private videos into memes.

Another screenshot, reportedly from Rehman’s TikTok account which Jumuiya.co.ke could not verify, quotes her as saying “Jab tak video viral hai maine ne ID off kar di hai (Till the time video is viral, I have deactivated my account).”

Who is Imsha Rehman?

Rehman born on October 7 2002 is very popular in Pakistan and is known for her lively and engaging content. Apart from TikTok, Rehman has presence on other social media platforms too.

She was born and brought up in Lahore.

The case of Minahil Malik

Malik went through a similar situation after a video showing her in a compromised position with her partner went viral on social media in October.

She dismissed the video as “fake” and lodged a complaint with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

She bowed down to online trolling since social media users accused her of intentionally leaking the video and she deactivated her account.

Without mentioning anyone, Pakistani actress Mishi Khan released a video criticizing influencers for “stooping to the lowest level” for fame.

Pundits however noted that the reference was being made towards Malik.
