“The school has 30 teachers and 27 have been asked to isolate. We do not want to take chances that’s why all teachers will stay at home until their results are out,” said Wanjohi.

Wanjohi said no student has contracted the virus. The school will be re-opened once the teachers are given a clean bill of health.

Wanjohi reaffirmed that all measures have been put in place in all learning institutions to combat the spread of the pandemic.

“Social distancing is observed in the classrooms. We urge everybody to adhere to all protocols so that we can fight the pandemic,” Wanjohi added.
