President Uhuru Kenyatta is chairing the first council meeting of the Azimio- One Kenya Alliance at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
ODM leader Raila Odinga is also in attendance.
Raila arrived first at the venue and welcomed President Uhuru at around 9 am.
The meeting was convened to discuss pertinent issues within the coalition as well as iron out glaring differences that are threatening the alliance.
President Kenyatta is the chairman of the coalition party while Raila is the party leader and presidential flagbearer.
The meeting brings on board the council membership.
Council members include Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua, Governor Ali Hassan Joho, KANU chairman Gideon Moi, NARC leader Charity Ngilu, DAP-K party leader Wafula Wamunyinyi, Muranga Woman Representative Sabina Chege, Abdi Noor Omar Farah and Taveta MP Naomi Shaban.
