Azimio leader Raila Odinga has accused a section of Kenya Kwanza leaders for plotting to make disrupt Thursday’s mass action.
Raila alleged that a senior government official is behind the secret meetings aimed at painting Azimio protests in a bad light.
“They have been meeting and we know their every plan. They will also meet today (Wednesday) to plan but we have people who are keeping us updated on their moves,” he said.
He reiterated that Thursday’s mass action will go on as planned and called on Azimio supporters to show up in large numbers for the protests.

He spoke after meeting Kibra Nubi, the PCEA community and business leaders at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation offices in Nairobi.
He was accompanied by Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.
Wamalwa said the notice for the demonstrations on Thursday still stands no matter what Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome says.
“Our demos are on. We served IG with a notice. We will not serve him with another notice. Koome must respect the notices we have served him,” Wamalwa added.
