‘The strike is just around the corner. We shall begin our strike this August if the government fails us.’’ Aloo said.
Aloo was speaking at Baraka FM on Tuesday.
He noted for a long time their employer TSC has always been playing cat-and-mouse games with the teachers.
At the same time Aloo accused former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndungu on claims of what he terms as embezzling public funds.
Njuguna clearly knows what is going on in his docket. This is an abuse of office and an insult to Kenyans,’’ he said.
On Monday during handing over to the newly appointed cabinet Secretary Njuguna was noted saying that the ministry has been allocating funds to ghost schools.
Aloo further pointed out that its unethical for a leader like Njuguna to allocate funds to ghost schools clearly knowing what is actually going on in his docket.
According to Mwalimu every government department and ministry has cartels.
‘’Cartels are powerful individuals in government beyond the control of a common man,’’ he pointed out.
Asked on whether the Coast region also has ghost schools too, Aloo blankly said ‘’ We have no ghost schools in the coast region due to us being in opposition for a long time.
