Mwanzele music crooner Nyerere wa Khonde is dead.
Nyerere, 78, died on Sunday night at his Sita home in Dabaso, Kilifi North.
Confirming the news, Said Ngana (Mr. Bado), one of Nyerere’s sons said he died at around 11:30 pm.
The late Nyerere wa Khonde has been recovering well from a stroke he suffered some years back.

According to Mr. Bado, he will be interred today according to Islamic rites.
His mwanzele music career spans many decades. He is the father to Mr. Bado, Nyerere Junior, Mubebaji, DJ Kilingo and others
