Prominent businessman Mzee Jackson Kibor is dead, his family has confirmed. Kibor who hails from Uasin Gishu County passed away on Wednesday at an Eldoret hospital where he had been receiving treatment.
According to Mzee Kibor’s family, he passed away at St Luke Orthopedic hospital while receiving treatment over a prolonged Covid-19 complication. Kibor contracted Covid in late 2020 and had been using medical oxygen ever since.
In 2017, Mzee Kibor became promiment after a court in Eldoret allowed him to divorce his third wife, months after divorcing his second wife with whom they had been married for over 50 years. He married a fourth wife soon after. His wife died in the 90s.
He is survived by tens of children from his four marriages.
