The annual Kilifi dhow race is underway. This year over 50 dhows and canoes are taking part.
The event is organized every year by the Kilifi boat operators and the coast sea survival organization.
This years event is sponsored by the George Kithi foundation.
It is organized to sensitize fishermen on their safety as well as celebrate the cultural diversity in Kilifi.
The climax of the event dubbed Kilifi Fest is an electrifying performance by Bongo sensation Mbosso Khan of WCB.
The Festival has been on going for the last three days with different performances.
