Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth has passed on at Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Okoth, 41 was placed in ICU at Nairobi hospital where he was rushed on Thursday night after his condition deteriorated.
According to his brother, Imran, the legislator was rushed to Nairobi Hospital at 5pm on Thursday and moved to ICU after multiple organ failure.
The MP has been battling colorectal cancer and was admitted in a hospital in France for five months.
He recently returned in the country and made his first public appearance about two weeks ago during the Kibra Music Fest at Moi Girls School, Nairobi. He was accompanied by other City leaders.

Okoth who showed confidence thanked Kenyans for praying for him during his time in France and vowed to overcome the disease in the long run.
The legislator went public in March and announced that he was managing stage four colorectal cancer and exuded victory.
