Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi’s wife dies in car crash

Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi’s wife, Stella Memusi, has died in a road crash.
She died on Tuesday morning at Ketraco area along the Nairobi-Namanga road.

Kajiado police commander Muthuri Mwongera said the vehicle that was carrying her rammed into a stationery lorry killing her on the spot.

The driver Faizal Abdi was also injured and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

According to the police, Abdi was driving a Nissan Patrol registration number KBT 872A towards Kajiado general direction from Isinya direction when he hit a trailer registration number T608 CWW/T336 CFZ.

The driver of the said lorry is yet to be identified as he wasn’t found at the scene of the accident.

The Nissan Patrol hit the right side angle of the trailer which was stationary on the middle of the road obstructing the whole left lane as one faces Kajiado from Isinya direction and which had no road sign of live savers displayed.

“As a results of the accident one passenger who was in the Motor vehicle Nissan Patrol namely Stella Memusi wife to Elijah Memusi Kanchory MP Kajiado Central died on the spot, while her driver namely Faizal Abdi escaped with minor injuries,” Police say.

The body of the deceased was taken to Kajiado hospital Mortuary for preservation while awaiting for Postmortem .

Both vehicles were towed to Isinya Police Station, with the Patrol extensively damaged.
