Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa has endorsed Shimo la Tewa ward MCA Sammy Ndago for the Kiifi south parliamentary seat in 2022.
Speaking in Kaloleni after officially opening the Gogo raruhe model primary school on Friday, Jumwa said Ndago has exhibited exemplary leadership skills that can propel the constituency to the next level.
“Ndago is currently the MCA of the most populated ward in Kilifi county. He has demonstrated high level leadership in the ward he is fearless. Kilifi south needs a leader who is assertive and has the public at heart. We will soon pitch tent in Kilifi south to tell them why they need to elect Ndago,” said Jumwa
Jumwa was in Kaloleni on invitation by Kaloleni MP Paul Katana to grace the auspicious occasion of handing over the Gogo raruhe primary model classrooms built through the Kaloleni NG-CDF.

Ndago who is serving his first term as the Shimo a tewa MCA is also the deputy leader of majority in the Kilifi county assembly.
Ndago criticized Kilifi south MP Ken Chonga for isolating himself from the other Kilifi MPs.
“I have great respect for my MP but he needs to style up. As leaders we need to embrace each other. I am wondering why Ken Chonga cannot greet Aisha Jumwa, Owen Baya and the other MPs from Kilifi county. As a leader you cannot work in isolation and you should invite other leaders to your constituency to spur development,” said Ndago.
Ndago said he will vie for the seat and expressed confidence in winning.
He has been in talks with Mtepeni ward MCA Victor Mwaganda on who among them would take over from Chonga.
Chonga will not be defending his seat as he has declared to run for the Kilifi gubernatorial seat in 2022.
