Kilifi gubernatorial hopeful Gideon Mung’aro is a worried man.
Mung’aro who is eyeing the seat on an ODM ticket is reported to have on several occasions begged Jimmy Kahindi to shelve his ambition and support him.
Kahindi on the other hand has declined the proposal and instead asked Mung’aro to square it during the nomination.

Feeling the confidence exuded by Kahindi, Mung’aro is said to be weighing options whether to return to Jubilee.
A source close to Mung’aro intimated to whispers that he is also planning to endorse Jubilee Party national chairman Nelson Dzuya as his running mate.
Reached for comment, Mung’aro said he is in ODM to stay but as they say,a day is far too long in politics.
