A coastal county is in the spot for using over Ksh 5 million to beam world cup matches in various areas of the county.

Sources privy to the matter whispered that the organizers pocketed most of the money.

An accountant is currently wondering how the expenditure will be factored in the books.


A governor in the coast region has allegedly grabbed a public beach plot.

The plot was recently fenced off by county askaris and the governor is planning to put a private villa.

The governor is also planning to demolish a government housing estate and put up his official residence.

Already surveyors have been sent to the estate to earmark the five acres for the governor’s residence
