Mwambire pointed out that most of the teenage mothers are usually stigmatised and miss out on their education opportunities despite being a basic right.

“We are renovating some of the high schools within the constituency so that our constituents can have access to better education. Already we have Kafuloni Girls Secondary school where teenage mothers are admitted,” he said.

The lawmaker said girls like have a constitutional right to have access to education.

“I have visited various dispensaries and noted that there is a high number of teenage mothers. What we want as a constituency is to ensure that they go back to school so that they can attain higher education,” Mwambire said.
