A section of stalls at the Gikomba Market in Nairobi have been reduced to ashes after being razed down by fire.
The fire broke out at Line 42 near the bridge on Wednesday morning at around 3am. According to witnesses, the fire razed stalls with shoes and apparel.
By 6am, emergency teams including firefighters from the Nairobi City County, were on the scene battling to put out the flames.
The fire comes barely two months after traders lost property of unknown value after a night inferno gutted several stalls on February 7.
The market has been facing a series of fires in past months with no clear cause of the same.
