Diani Beach is one of the most thrilling locations for relaxing and enjoying the beach in Kenya.
It is located 30 kilometres south of Mombasa, in the nearby Kwale County. The beach line is about 10 kilometers long, stretching from the Kongo River to the north and Galu beach to the south.
Its surroundings are breathtaking, stunning and unique. The sweeping sails and curving beams create an ambience unparalleled on the whole east coast of Africa.
The pearly-white sands blend into the turquoise warm waters of the Indian Ocean creating a perfect backdrop of tranquility for a truly memorable time. The large tidal movement on beach creates a width of up to 200m of white sand at low tide.
Unlike other public beaches, this beach has a huge variety of activities to suit both local and foreign visitors.
Whatever your fun – be it kiteboarding/kite surfing, safari, jet skiing, scuba diving, big game fishing, mountain bike tours, sea kayaking, and more – you will find it at Diani Beach.
The strong coastal winds and low tides provide excellent Kite and Windsurfing conditions for all levels. Those who wish to dive will be spoilt for choice. The stunning coral reef and huge marine life, serve up over 25 world class dive sites to explore.
Low tide is extra dramatic with almost half a kilometre of beach opening out towards the most superb mixture of blue and green colours that add so much to the unique experience one gets.
