Covid-19: Kenya reports 336 cases

Kenya has reported 16 new covid-19 cases, increasing the country’s total to 336.

Health CAS Rashid Aman on Friday said that the new patients were among 946 tested in the last 24 hours.

He said 11 of the cases are from Nairobi County and five from Mombasa County.

The cases in Nairobi were recorded in Dandora, City Park, Parklands, Eastleigh and Pipeline.

Cases in Mombasa were reported in Kiembeni, Centi Kumi, Stadium, Msikiti Nuru and Mulaloni.

So far a total of 16,738 tests have been conducted.

Aman said five more patients had recovered, raising the total number to 94, and that the number of deaths had remained 14 since April 18.
