Mombasa county governor Hassan Joho has urged coast locals to embrace the BBI report saying it is the only remedy to election hostilities.
Speaking in Kwale county, Joho said the report builds on a better, bright and prosperous Kenya.
He noted that the report requires support at the grassroots level.
“I want to urge residents in the coastal region to back up the BBI report. This is the only way we can end election hostilities in this country,” the Mombasa county chief said.
The ODM deputy party leader who met representatives from the Kikuyu community living in Msambweni, Kwale county was accompanied by ODM Candidate in the upcoming Msambweni by-election Omar Boga and nominated senator Agnes Zani.

Joho was on a meet the people tour to drum up support for ODM Boga.
The governor referred to Boga as the only handshake candidate with the blessings and goodwill of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
“Boga stands a better chance in this by-election because he enjoys the blessings of the top political leadership of this country,” noted Joho.
Msambweni parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of MP Suleiman Dori in march 2020.
