Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has cautioned Kenyans against political gimmicks currently witnessed in the country.
Speaking to the media in Mombasa, Mutua accused political leaders on claims of using lies to enrich themselves.
He called on Kenyans to read through the Building Bridges Initiative –BBI report before making what he says is more mistakes in their lives.
The governor who is eyeing the 2022 Presidential seat notes that the document despite depicted as the Kenyans problem solver does not clearly indicate the solution to the problems facing Kenyans.

He states that the lives of Kenyans have for a longer time been subjected to poor leadership.
The time to end poor leadership is now. Our leaders are not openly telling us how they will solve our problems,” noted Mutua
He took issue with the march 2018 Handshake terming it fake it would have incorporated the deputy President William Ruto.
“The duo (Uhuru and Ruto) told us that they are going to unite the country through the Jubilee Party,” he added.
He asked Kenyans to be extremely vigilant and enact the badly needed leadership changes that will only focus on their lives.
Mutua took issue with the BBI report, saying it will not solve any problems in the country but enrich few individuals.
The governor called on Kenyans to think outside the boxes and avoid being taken for a ride.
“We are tired of being taken for a ride. Let us think outside the box,” he noted the governor
The BBI initiative has sparked controversy amongst Kenyans tearing the country along political lines.
