Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have apprehended a second suspect in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Wells Fargo Human Resources Manager, Willis Ayieko.

Through their X handle, the DCI reported that Duncan Onyango, known by the alias “Otuch,” was arrested at a hideout in Bondo sub-county.

Investigators have linked Onyango’s residence to the crime through a scene reenactment conducted with one of the previously arrested suspects.

“This exercise identified Onyango’s house as the location where the victim was allegedly tortured and killed. Ayieko’s body was subsequently discovered less than 400 meters from the residence, in Luanda Doho, Kisa East, Kakamega County.” Said the DCI

The suspect is currently undergoing processing and will face arraignment in court.
